It has been stated that "mufflers are required on all
vehicles" that race at West Speedway. To correct that
statement, the actual rule is that your ride cannot be loader
than 95 decibels, thus mufflers are not required if your ride
registers under the 95 decibel reading.
As stated on the Western Speedway Website by the Track
Promoters; Attention All Racers!!
For the 2010 Season All Cars All Classes Will Have to abide
by The 95 Decibel Noise Level as a Western Speedway Rule!
This means everyone should look at putting enough muffler
on your cars to insure you are at or below this level.
We hope this clarifies this.
