Request for Sponsorship

Businesses are invited to sponsor the South Island Straight Liners Drag Racing Association. 
The S.I.S.L.R.A is working to reduce or stop the number of people involved in crashes as a result of high speed street racing.  Our mission is “Drag racers against street racing”.  Entirely volunteer run, our non-profit society has teamed up with the Saanich Police Department and Thrifty Foods to host a Student Trophy Class in addition to our existing Pro, Street and Motorcycle Classes, encouraging young and adult drivers to drag race at Western Speedway in a safe and controlled environment. 
Businesses are welcome to sponsor as many half or full races as they like.  Sponsorship on a smaller scale can also be made by way of donating products or services that can be used as prizes. 
Sponsorship has its rewards;

• A $ 600.00 monetary sponsorship received before January 31, 2010 puts your business logo on our club posters to be distributed throughout the community for the 2010 season plus it gives your business exclusive advertising for one full race.
• A $600.00 monetary sponsorship received after January 31, 2010 gives your business exclusive advertising for one full race.

• A $300.00 monetary sponsorship gives your business advertising for half of one race.

Advertising includes;

• Entitlement to a 4’ by 8’ area on the burnout wall in which your business has the option to provide a sign for further advertising for the season. This sign can be seen by all drag racing participants and spectators who attend all events hosted at Western Speedway.
• Your business name and logo will be printed on the club website for the season.

• Your business name will appear on all time slips on your sponsored race day.

• Your business will be announced over our PA system on your sponsored race day.
